Mustafa Domanic is an Associate Partner in the Exchange and Capital Market in Oliver Wyman’s Dubai Office.
Mustafa has more than 10 years of experience in finance and consulting to leading financial institutions across USA, Europe, Middle East, focusing on capital markets. Before that Mustafa worked as an investment banker and a trader in USA and UK.
During his projects, Mustafa focused on exchange set-up, exchange strategies, product launches, regulatory reforms such as G20 responses for regulating the OTC market, post trade services pricing, post-trade risk management
 
Relevant experience
–Benchmarked pricing levels for trade, post trade and market data services across global exchanges
–Designed governance and organization of a regulatory division within a Middle Eastern stock exchange and ran the implementation of the regulatory transition from the Capital Markets Regulator to the exchange
–Advised capital markets regulator and central bank in shaping their regulatory response to G20 recommendations on OTC Derivatives market reform
–Operating model for a Middle Eastern stock exchange
–Regulatory review for the launch of new exchange products
–Developed margining, back-testing and stress testing methodologies for the South African Stock Exchange’s central counterparty
–Designed the operational model and built the business case for a pan-regional Middle Eastern second-tier stock market launch
–Managed post-merger integration of a Turkish bank, involving 20+ works-streams, 100+ work streams members and tasks forces, regulatory interface
–Regulatory transition review for capital market participants
 
Mustafa holds a BA in Economics from the University of Chicago. He is fluent in Turkish and English. He joined Oliver Wyman in 2010. Prior to OW he worked for Citadel Investment Group in USA and UK, and 3 Seas Capital Partners in Turkey
