Khaled Abel Rahman was born in Cairo on August 14th, 1966. Graduated from faculty of Commerce, major of Accounting from Ain Shams University.  He began his career at the Nile Marketing Company the Nile Bank.

In January 1992, he joined the Commercial International Bank (CIB) Treasury Department as a Senior money market operations. In 1994 he became a responsible for the FX Deals, Local & Foreign Currencies, Forward Deals Pricing and SWAP Deals Pricing.

In July 1997, he joined EFG- Hermes as a Director Trading Department, he was the responsible for the Execution of the Institutional and Retail Clients, (Bonds & Equities) (IPO S) and a member in the Executive Committee of the Brokerage Arm.

From 2002 to 2007, he joined the Egyptian Stock Exchange EGX, as the general manager of the technical office and head of Technical Affairs, member Management Committee, Chairman of G.D.R. Committee, Chairman of Operations Committee, Member of Trading Committee, Member of Membership Committee, Member of Index Committee, Member of Trading Practice Committee and the Head of Training Instructors.

In February 2007, he joined the National Bank of Abu Dhabi (NBAD) as an executive general manager brokerage arms and executive committee member.

In August 2009, he joined the Global Investment House Kuwait as a senior vice Present G.C.C. Brokerage. He was responsible for running Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Sultanate Oman and Bahrain brokerage licenses, in addition to overlooking Jordanian, Sudan and Egyptian brokerage operations 

In August 2010, he joined CICapital Holding (Commercial International bank “CIB” investment banking arm) as a board member, Group Head of brokerage and Executive committee member, Chairman and Managing Director Commercial International Brokerage Company “CIBC”.

Since January 1st 2018, he joined the Egyptian Ministry of Finance as a Deputy Minister of Finance for Capital Market Operations and Debt management, Board member at the Central Bank of Egypt, member of pension funds investment committee and board member at the Tourism Development Authority.
