Emma has 20 years’ experience in the financial services and capital markets sector spanning corporate development and management consulting across Asia Pacific, Europe, Middle East and Africa. As Nasdaq Senior Advisor, Emma provides executive and board level advisory to securities exchanges, regulators and governments in the areas of strategy, capital market development, governance and corporate transformation.
Emma is a member of the Borsa Istanbul-Nasdaq Strategic Partnership Committee, a Non-Executive Director of EGID Egypt and has served as a Non-Executive Member of the Kuwait Stock Exchange Transformation & Privatisation Committee upon appointment by the Kuwait Capital Market Authority. Prior roles include Nasdaq Vice President South East Asia and Nasdaq Head of Market Development Asia Pacific.
Emma holds a BA and post-graduate qualifications in Applied Finance and Investment [Treasury], is a Fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia (F Fin), a Member and International Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD) and a Member of the Professional Risk Managers’ International Association. Emma has lived and worked in Sydney, Perth, Tokyo, Singapore, Stockholm, Geneva and spends considerable time in the Middle East, currently dividing her time between Stockholm and Australia.
